Beautiful, semi-antique, large Berber Moroccan pile rug with traditional tribal designs and motifs.
This hand-woven and hand-knotted rug made with a 100% woollen pile shows a typical variation (abrash) in the rich crimson, cyclamen and salmon pink background colour due to changes in the batches of dyed wool used during the weaving process. This is purely natural and expected in a genuine rug of this age, and only serves to enhance the hand-made origin of the piece.
